Success at the Accounting and Business Expo 2023
In March, we sponsored and attended our very first event at the Accounting and Business Expo held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. This event is held bi-annually and brings together 200 Speakers, 125+ Exhibitors and 4,000+ attendees. The event’s primary focus is the fast-changing world of cloud and digital transformation in accounting, business, finance, and money. Over two days, end-users, buyers and clients are brought together to meet with solution providers to exchange knowledge, products and services from across Australia and the world.
This was an exciting experience for us as the event provided us with a platform to showcase Qubisoft in a public setting for the first time in a very long two years due to the global pandemic. Exhibiting alongside Qubisoft at the expo were companies such as Expensify, Quickbooks, American Express, Optus, Docusign, Adobe and Coinspot.
The expo had also provided us with an opportunity to launch the initial stages of our innovative paper-less NFC digital business card venture. As a little special offering for the expo attendees, it was very well received and very much to our surprise!
Over the two-day event, the hall was buzzing with excited stands, all eager to stage their businesses and discuss their expertise and offerings. By the end of the hustling days, the Expo delighted us with the events’ after parties where we enjoyed some drinks, nibbles and entertainment.
Our managing director, Brett Nuske presented on the second day of the Expo. With his extensive knowledge and 20+ year’s experience in the industry, Brett provided in depth discussions surrounding business process optimisation and automation. If you weren’t able to attend the expo and participate in the presentation, you can download a copy of the slide deck highlighting how custom software can help provide software integrations and improve your business processes. With numerous like-minded businesses and professionals in attendance, we all were very keen to network and discuss topics around the latest trends and technologies that relate to optimising efficiency within the financing and accounting sectors. Interestingly, we noted that there were two main focal and discussion topics when visited at our booth; business automation and software integration.
Businesses are seeking to automate their processes
With businesses wanting to optimise their internal processes, automated software is a necessity to increase efficiency in their operation. Efficient business automation can be achieved with the designing and development of a custom software, or integrating a business’s software packages, including accounting software suites, further described below.
Achieving business automation with the development of a custom software will optimise a business with improved accuracy, compliance and standards that will ultimately, save money. With the potential to solve numerous problems including customer dissatisfaction, reduce the use of poor-quality software not tailored to a business, wasted resources, communication gaps and reduce human error. It is no wonder that with today’s business dynamic, businesses are seeking automation to stay ahead of the game.
Integrating software packages will resolve communication gaps
Many businesses are already using trusted accounting software suites, however these don’t always communicate with their other software packages, leading to the double handling of information and data, including manual financial reporting. An alternative to custom software development is software integration to help achieve business optimisation. Essentially, software integration is the connecting of one or several software packages. When connected, these software are able share data simultaneously, thereby filling the gaps and reducing the incidence of human error. Integration can also increase a businesses accounting functions, including customer relationship management, multi-language and multi-currency ad-ons to further enhance businesses specific requirements.
With a large focus on the finance and accounting niche, many businesses are seeking solutions to optimise their operation, together with their individual accounting processes. It is no wonder that we are seeing an increased demand for software integrations across many industry sectors, as this service provides a cost-effective choice for business to achieve automation.
So, what about our special offer?
In Australia, everyone, including businesses are required to become more sustainable to minimise the impact of emissions on our environment. We are seeing businesses become increasingly paperless and relying more heavily on technology and software. These NFC digital business cards are paperless and hold up with the global technological trend for business dealings.
We were amazed at the positivity that was received surrounding the digital business card technology. It is very important for businesses to continue to operate and accommodate with online- advancements. With this in mind, the approach to these business cards are to also support the increased necessity for a more sustainable future and the unnecessary waste of traditional business cards.
